Final words and thanks to you all
mars 21, 2009After so many months on two different parts of the world, we finally get back together (in Germany!) and take advantage of this to express our gratitude.
Thanks to all the people that welcomed us so warmly and helped us during our trip, we had our best travelling and human experience. We are still thinking about the great times we had with you and the beautiful moments we experienced on our way.
To feed your curiosity about the last days of the adventure, we stayed 2 days in Bucharest, had a bike-packing workshop on the platform of the station and virulent arguments with the passengers who were sitting under our (rather) big packet. After some time, they called the controller: we had to explain our conception of the word “hand-luggage”. A good negociation never fails. We finally arrived in Munich after 27 hours of train.
All in all, to the ones who were doubtious about the idea, we can now answer that we would do it instantly again. And we strongly advise you the Danube road !
Liebe Radler-Kollegen,
Burkhard
P.S.: Was heißt denn “devastateur”? Ist es das, was ich denke?
